Our solid Copper dog collars are an effective natural pain relief. The copper collar also has four 1700 gauss neodymium rare earth magnets that will help to relieve the symptoms of arthritis. Copper has been used for medical purposes for thousands of years. The copper is absorbed through the skin and is chelated to another compound that exerts anti-inflammatory actions. It is common for elderly dogs to suffer from arthritis. Certain breeds of dog are more likely to develop arthritis than other breeds, especially if the breed is large such as a German Shepherd or Labrador. Dogs that are overweight tend to develop arthritis due to the extra weight on their joints and conditions such as hip dysplasia and patellar subluxation cause cartilage erosion that aggravates arthritis.
We recommend using them alongside their normal collar as copper is not strong enough to use as a lead collar.
Common symptoms to look for are:
  • Reduced activity
  • Limping
  • Difficulty getting up from a lying down position
  • Difficulty jumping up on things
  • Chewing or licking at joints
  • Difficulty climbing stairs
As these are MADE TO MEASURE you will have to measure your dogs neck and choose the correct size. When measuring please leave 2-3 fingers behind the measuring tape to give a more comfortable fit.

My 12 year old precious border collie has been fearful of slipping on stairs in her recent years.  Soon after I put her new copper collar she is no longer fearful!  She also seems much more relaxed.  Although she did not seem to have any joint pain it is possible she may have had some pain that is now relieved.
trying to do all I can to make her remaining years as healthy and happy as possible.  Her new collar is a big piece.
Here is a question for your experts:  Do you know if the copper will help mitigate radiation in her body from radon and other radioactive substances from the granite we live on here on the Maine coast?

Our 8 year old shepherd mix had started not wanting to really get around. Her arthritis had pretty much taken over and I was searching for answers- even considering cold laser therapy and acupuncture. I can across this collar and it has worked wonders. She had stopped getting on the beds and wanting to run at the dog park. In the last week, we can't keep her off the beds, she wants to always get in the car, and she ran with all the other dogs last night at the park. Not to mention, she just looks better. She has a sparkle back in her eyes. It's not just me noticing it either, friends of ours commented on her higher spirits and better mobility, without even knowing about her magnetic collar.
